1. Scope and Terms
The general terms and conditions regulate the legal relationship between the organiser/customer, hereinafter referred to as client, and The Wishing Table. The booking conditions apply to these General Terms and Conditions. In the event of discrepancies between the order and these General Terms and Conditions, the provisions made in the order confirmation shall take precedence.
2. Performance
The Wishing Table undertakes to provide the scope of services in accordance with the order confirmation made with the client and to proceed with the greatest care when executing the order. The Wishing Table endeavors to carry out the event on time and in perfect condition and to place value on the highest quality when selecting food and drinks. In the event of short-term changes in the market offer, The Wishing Table reserves the right to make minor changes to the offer in consultation with the customer.
3. Agreement
An order can be placed with The Wishing Table in writing by letter or email / Whats app. The order is binding for The Wishing Table after receipt of the order confirmation and is then deemed to have been accepted.
4. Contribution towards expenses
The Wishing Table charges a 3% organization fee on the total order volume. If the customer wants several detailed offers without later placing an order, The Wishing Table is entitled to demand an additional expense allowance for their efforts according to the expenditure and expenses. A rehearsal meal requested by the customer will be charged separately.
5. Infrastructure
The customer is responsible for the localities. where the catering service is to be provided, conform to The Wishing Table's requirements. Furthermore, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the necessary installations (electricity, running water) are available in the usual form. In the case of catering orders, the electricity costs are borne by the client.
6. Change in the number of participants
Deviations in the number of participants of more than 10% must be reported in writing at least 7 days before the event date. The definitive number of participants must be communicated no later than 5 working days before the event. This number of people serves as the basis for billing. The prices offered are only valid if the quantity offered is accepted. An industry standard tolerance of plus or minus 10% applies. The full costs will be charged for participants who do not appear. If the number of participants is higher, billing will be based on the actual number of participants.
7. Cancellation of events and reservations
If definitive bookings are cancelled, the confirmed services will be charged as follows:
Up to 31 days before the event: No costs
14 - 30 days before the event: 20% of the service offered
7 - 13 days before the event: 50% of the service offered
7 days to the day of the event: 100% of the service offered
8. Liability of Client
In any case, the organizer is liable for all damage and losses caused by his employees or event participants to the vehicle, equipment and furniture. The Wishing Table is only liable for loss of or damage to items brought in if it is its own fault or negligent on the part of its own employees.
9. Prices and terms of payment
The prices confirmed in writing apply. These are in Swiss Francs. Invoices are due for payment within 10 days of the invoice date without any discount deduction.
10. Resignation by The Wishing Table
In the event of force majeure and non-compliance with a contractually agreed advance payment, The Wishing Table is entitled to withdraw from the contract free of charge.
11. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These general terms and conditions are subject to Swiss law. Place of jurisdiction is Zurich.
